Hey there. What can I say? I'm in love with BoP. I discovered it by chance, just having a look at some Cillian Murphy pics to drool over. Then, Google Images showed me the picture of him as a woman. "What the hell?", I thought and subsequently decided to investigate a little bit. Then, the surprise came.
From the very first scene, the movie is so full of life and feelings. Everything is sunshine (unintended pun, if you know what I mean) despite the sadness surrounding poor Kitten from the very beginning. But there's light because she shines and finds beauty and magic everywhere.
Apart from that, well, I'm a Spaniard spending my last days in Ireland before coming back home after quite a tiring month. I'm at Sligo currently and spent all the time thinking about getting the book. A couple of weeks ago I went to a second-hand book shop to try my luck. I found it: "Breakfast on Pluto", by Patrick McCabe. I couldn't believe my luck and how ironic life is. Yup, apparently the author lives in Sligo, or so the book says. I haven't started it yet, I prefer to read it slowly and carefully, enjoying every single word in it. And then, I'll probably write a fanfic. I already have something in mind.

I love how Breakfast on Pluto seems to consistently gather more supporters well after the film's been released.

And I'm elated that you liked it enough to want to read the book. I hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us did. It has its differences from the film, but the magic is definitely still there.

*Looking forward to your fic*

By the by, welcome to the world that's ruled by Saint Kitten. Feel free to light a candle for her at church_o_kitten *Shameless plug* ^_^
